American Idol' Sx Scandal Goes into Full Throttle

Those who are quick to jump to conclusions, should better hold on to their horses some more until we get the facts clear: Antonella has been kept on the show, even if the leaked photos are of a somewhat adult content (true, the hardcore ones are not of her). Even more, this has done nothing to decrease her popularity with the public, as the votes can show clearly. Of course, it didn't help her become a better singer but that's a totally different story...

And then we have Frenchie, who was a great singer, black and overweight. She was axed after the judges found out that, at 19, she had posed topless for some website. Now she's pissed and she's asking for the following: a formal apology for having her name dragged through the mud, a chance to go on the show again and to prove that she really could win it... or both, if possible. As in: please, pretty please! Miss Davis cries: if pornography is pornography, what's up with the double standards? Something like: I have t**ts, she has t**ts (and I could go on some more, but better not), so why kick me off and not her?

'American Idol' is supposed to be a fair competition, in which the judges get to have their say on the performances of the contestants, while the public has the final word on who stays and who goes. Yet, somewhere down the line, some great injustice has been made and it asks to be corrected... after four years! Then again, if Oscar-winning Jennifer Hudson made it big in showbiz after she was booted from the competition, why shouldn't Frenchie Davis do the same? Oh, excuse me, this is exactly what she's doing right now!

Last week, I was telling you about Miss Antonella Barba who, obviously, has no right to still be on the show! At least, that's what most people say but they're probably talking out of their ass since it's their votes that are keeping her on the show. Anyway, refraining from more personal opinions, I will say this: Antonella has a bunch of very racy photos out there, splashed all over the Internet and she's still game for 'Idol'. Another contestant, who did the same four years ago, when 'Idol' was only in its second season, was booted after a couple of weeks, despite her talent and great vocal abilities. One is white and slim, the other one is black and overweight. Where's the fairness in that?
